Roaming 🌍 means using your mobile phone abroad to make calls, send SMS, or use mobile data through another network while you’re outside Switzerland.

To help you stay connected without worrying about high costs, CHmobile offers several roaming options that help you save on data, calls, and SMS when travelling. You can easily activate one of these savings options before or during your trip.

Manage roaming in your CHmobile account

You can activate or block roaming directly in your my CHmobile account:

▸ Calls, SMS and data abroad: Enable this setting to use your mobile services (calls, SMS, and data) while abroad. If it’s turned off, your plan won’t work outside Switzerland.

▸ Roaming (data only): Turn this on to use mobile data abroad. If it’s turned off, calls and texts will still work, but you’ll need Wi-Fi for internet access.
