Your bill after switching your plan
When you change your plan, your next bill may be higher than usual. This is normal. The amount is calculated on a pro-rata basis from the date you switched your plan.
What your bill includes
▸ A refund of your previous plan for the days you didn’t use
▸ The prorated cost of your new plan from the switch date
▸ The regular monthly fee for the current billing month
Why the amount can be higher
These three elements are combined in the same bill, which can temporarily increase the total for that month.
From the following month on, your bill will include only your new plan and return to its regular amount.
