Your first bill
Your first bill may look higher than expected, but don’t worry, this is completely normal. Here’s a clear breakdown of why this happens and what your first invoice typically includes.
What your first bill includes
Your invoice includes:
① The partial amount for your first month
You only pay for the days from your activation date until the end of that month.
② The full monthly fee for the current month
CHmobile charges the monthly fee at the beginning of each month, so your bill also includes the full fee for the current month.
③ Activation fee (depending on your offer)
A one-time activation fee normally appears on the first bill. If your subscription came with a special offer, this fee may not be charged.
Example
If your subscription starts on 15 November 2025:
▸ You’ll get your first bill at the beginning of December.
▸ Your bill will include:
① A partial fee for November (only for the days from 15.11 to 30.11)
② The full monthly fee for December, because December is the month the bill covers
③ The activation fee
▸ You’ll need to pay the total amount by the end of December.
ℹ️ This only affects your first bill. All future bills will include only one monthly fee.
Additional charges may apply
Depending on your usage and services, you may also see:
Call and usage charges
These appear if something isn’t included in your plan:
▸ International calls
▸ Roaming usage
▸ Premium numbers (e.g. 090x)
Service charges
You may also see fees for extra services such as:
▸ Paper invoice fee (if you chose to receive your bill by post)
▸ SIM card fees
▸ Other CHmobile service charges
Options
If you activated any optional services, they will also show up:
▸ Roaming options
▸ Other CHmobile add-on services
How your first bill is structured
Your invoice is divided into:
▸ Recurring charges: subscription fees for the prorated period and the current month
▸ Call charges: usage outside your plan
▸ Service charges: fees for additional services
▸ Total amount: the amount due by the end of the month
