Managing your plan settings
Managing your CHmobile plan is simple. You can turn settings on or off, block certain services, manage your voicemail, adjust how your phone works in Switzerland and abroad, all directly from your account.
How to access your plan settings
① Log in to your CHmobile account.
② On the Home page, tap Plan details under the subscription you want to manage.
③ Tap Settings to manage your services.
💡 You can update your plan settings anytime directly in your account, even when you are abroad.
Your plan settings explained
Below you’ll find an overview of each setting and what it does, so you can easily choose the setup that works best for you.
⚙︎ 090x numbers
You can block or allow premium-rate numbers such as 090x hotlines or 0906 adult services. If turned off, these calls won’t go through, helping you avoid extra charges.
⚙︎ Call filter
Activate the call filter to automatically block unwanted advertising calls. It’s free, can be turned off anytime, and helps reduce spam.
⚙︎ Mobile data
Switching this off disables mobile data everywhere:
▸ In Switzerland
▸ Abroad
Calls and SMS will still work, but you’ll need Wi-Fi for internet.
⚙︎ Calls, SMS and data abroad
Turn this setting on if you want to use your plan outside Switzerland. If it’s off, your mobile services won’t work abroad.
⚙︎ Premium SMS
Block or allow paid SMS services such as:
▸ Ringtones
▸ Info services
▸ Voting, contests, or subscriptions
⚙︎ Data roaming
Turn this on to use mobile data abroad. If it’s off:
▸ Calls and SMS still work
▸ Internet access requires Wi-Fi
⚙︎ Surf in-flight, on-boat and satellite
Turn this on to use calls and data:
▸ On airplanes
▸ On boats
▸ Via satellite networks
⚠️ Higher extra fees apply, these services are not included in your plan.
⚙︎ Voicemail
When you’re abroad, incoming voicemail messages count as international calls and may incur charges. Here, you can choose the language of your voicemail.
